June M. (Crowley) Traynor, 84, of Windham, NH died Thursday Sept. 6th at The Terrace of Windham.
June was born in Lawrence, MA on April 8, 1923, a daughter of Daniel & Mary (Decker) Crowley. She grew up in Lawrence, MA, and Old Orchard Beach, MA. Mrs. Traynor graduated from Lawrence High School and Lowell State Teachers College. She taught over 25 years in Lawrence and Andover, MA, and Windham, NH. She belonged to the National Educators Association and served as President of the Local Windham Educators Association. She also served on the State Standards Board as well as numerous teams and committees.
Mrs. Traynor lived the past 42 years in Windham, NH, where she was an active participant in St. Matthews’s Parish. She helped form the Martha & Mary Mercy Meal Team, taught and administered Sunday School, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and participated on many parish committees and councils.
She enjoyed traveling with her best friend and husband Francis and collecting antiques along the way. She summered at Little Island Pond in Pelham, NH, where she enjoyed painting furniture orange.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis and a grandson Daniel Delisle.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
A Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10AM at St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham, NH.
