TEWKSBURY: Jane C. (Donnelly) Treanor, age 84, a resident of Tewksbury for over 30 years, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
She was the wife of thirty five years to Francis J. “Frank” Treanor, who died August 8, 1998.
Born in Boston on April 22, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Jennie (Tobin) Donnelly.
Mrs. Treanor was raised in the Brighton area of Boston.
She attended Brighton schools and graduated from Brighton High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a technician by the Charles River Laboratories Company of Wilmington. Mrs. Treanor previously worked as an administrative assistant for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston.
According to her children, she enjoyed traveling to Florida with her late husband, completing crossword and word search puzzles and attending the Adult Day Program at the Blair House in Tewksbury.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Robert Conley, with whom she resided of Tewksbury; her son, Francis J. “Frank” Treanor of Lowell; four grandchildren, Shawn M., Robert C., Stephanie J., and Steven P. Conley all of Tewksbury; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Hugh and Cathy Treanor of Malden; also two nieces and one nephew..
Mrs. Treanor was the sister of the late William Donnelly formerly of California and Jack Donnelly formerly of Roxbury.
Calling hours Sunday, September 9th, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Monday, September 10th, at 9 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. William’s Church 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Blair House Adult Day Program, 10 Erlin Terrace, Tewksbury, MA 01876 are suggested.
