Edgar A. “Eddie” Turner, Jr., 72, of Salem, NH died suddenly Sept. 4th at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Eddie was born in Methuen, MA and was a life long resident of Salem, NH. He graduated from Woodbury High School in 1952. Eddie was a custodian at Salem High School. He previously ran the family business, Turner’s Variety in Salem for many years.
Eddie was a member of the Derry-Salem Elks and St. Joseph’s Church. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, camping, snow mobiling and horses. Eddie loved people, he had many friends and he will be sadly missed.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Salem.
