Obituary

Keegan, Kenneth “Moms”, age 52 of Canton, Georgia, formerly of Oradell, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. Ken is survived by his sister Karen Bullen. His loving family includes his brother-in-law Steve Bullen, niece Courtney and nephew Tim. He is also survived by his niece Wendy Orzechowski, her husband Rob and their children Kassidy and Sara. Ken also leaves behind his nephew and close friend Eddie Bonchek and his niece Bonni Vislocky, her husband Steve and their children Andrew and Katelyn. Ken is united with his family in heaven, his father William Keegan (1964), his mother Louise K. Van Tassell (1992), his sister Kathleen Bonchek (1988) and his niece Beverly Germer (1968). Ken, known as “Moms” to his friends, leaves behind a multitude of friends spread out all across the country, whom were his true companions in life and he loved them dearly. “Moms” joins in heaven his best friend Richard Palermo “Rip”, his unofficial brother and closest friend for 40 years. He also joins the only true love of his life, his dear friend Jan Swift. Ken was a loyal and faithful friend to so many people and will be genuinely missed. His family and friends were blessed to have him touch so many lives. Ken was a cross-country tractor-trailer driver and the open road was his true home. He was previously a stockbroker with A.G. Edwards and Sons. Ken is a graduate of Ramapo College of NJ with a BS in Business Administration. He was a previous member of the Oradell Volunteer Fire Department. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell from 2-5PM on Saturday, September 8, 2007. A funeral service will be held at 4:30PM. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paramus Congregational Church, 205 Spring Valley Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.
