Obituary

Albert Oliveira age 82 formerly of 61 Rowley St., Swansea. Widower of Lydia Ann (Silvia) Oliveira. Son of the late Manuel & Hortense (Oliveira) Oliveira. Passed away Sept. 4, 2007. Born in Fall River, he was a Swansea resident for many years, a member of St. Thomas More Church & a retiree from the U.S. Air Force after 27 years serving in WW II & during Korea & Viet Nam with rank of Master Sgt. He was shot down in 1944 in Germany flying for the 491st Air Division. He also retired from the MA Veteran’s Administration where he was a Field Agent & Licensed Social Worker for 23 years. He was a member of the of the 2nd Air Division Assoc., Retired State & County Municipal Employees, MA & RI Bow Hunters Assoc., Elks,Somerset Sportsman’s Club, DAV, AARP, & American Legion Post #303.

He is survived by l Daughter: Mrs. David (Cherylanne) Boudria of Fall River. 1 Grandson: Christian S. Boudria & Several Nieces & Nephews. He was Brother of the late Joseph & Everett Oliveira.

His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home Thursday at 8:00 A.M. with a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas More Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 P.M.
