Louise M. (Pierce) O’Shea, 71 of Carver and formerly of Walpole and Wrentham died September 3 in the Life Care Center of Plymouth. She was the wife of the late John J. O’Shea M.D.
Born New Bedford on July 25, 1936, the daughter of the late Norman and Hazel (Gifford) Pierce, Mrs. O’Shea was raised in New Bedford and lived in Walpole for many years before moving to Wrentham where she lived for 10 years until moving to Carver 4 years ago.
Mrs. O’Shea had been a loan officer at the Walpole Co Operative Bank for many years before retiring.
She loved music, gardening, reading and antiquing.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Midttun and her husband, John Shaffer of Northboro, Karin Russo and her husband, Frank and her son, Eric Midttun and his wife, Micki Kane of N. Attleboro.
She is also survived by her fiancé, William Wiswell of Carver, her brother, Norman Pierce and his life partner, Jack Milan of Brookline. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen, Matthew, Andrea, Caroline and Allison, Brendan, Adrian and Erin.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7 in the United Church of Walpole at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in South Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St., Walpole.
