Beloved son of the late Patrick J. Quinn, QPD and Mary E. (Langan). Loving father of Peter C. Quinn of Boca Raton, FL, Mary Beth Andersen of E. Sandwich and the late Joseph P. Quinn, Jr. Brother of Marie E. Quinn of Quincy and the late Quincy City Councilman, John J. Quinn. Also survived by three grandchildren, Jack Patrick Quinn of Boca Raton, FL and two grandchildren of Cape Cod.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10 AM.
Visitation prior to Mass.
Burial in Town of Sandwich Cemetery, Cape Cod.
Born in Boston , raised in Quincy he was the son of Irish immigrants. His father of County Clare and his mother of County Mayo.
Mr. Quinn graduated from North Quincy High School in 1939 and Harvard University in 1947, where he received a degree in Naval Sciences.
He was a retired Commander U.S. Navy, Commanding Officer, Quincy Naval Reserve where he served a total of 22 years in the US Navy. Three years in active duty and 19 years in the reserves.
Mr. Quinn worked at the Quincy Fore River Shipyard for Bethlehem Steel and General Dynamics.
