Grace M. Mistretta, passed away on Tuesday at the Prescott House, in North Andover following a extended illness. The beloved wife of Charles F. Mistretta, she was eighty five years old.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Grace C. (Milne) and George Fowler. Grace was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, She enjoyed and was devoted to raising her family, playing and listening to the piano and was a avid reader, a former resident of Medford, she has lived in Woburn for over eighteen years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five daughters; Grace M. O´Connor and her husband Robert of North Billerica, Joyce Mistretta of Melrose, Margaret White and her husband Dennis of Woburn, Patrice Ferraro and her husband Louis of Andover, Claire Toloczko and her husband Stephen of Stoughton, one son Charles F. Mistretta Jr. And his wife Diane of Tewksbury. Also seven loving grandchildre and two Loving great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Friday, December 20, at 9 a.m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church 280 Main St. Woburn at 10.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend, visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8.Services will conclude with buial in Oak Grove Cemetery Medford.
