Betty Lou Jones, 65, of Irwin County, died Tuesday, August 28, at the Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held 11A.M., Friday, August 31, at the Ocilla Church Of God, with Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Miss Jones was born September 24, 1941, in Irwin County, to the late Wallace & Ina Britt Jones. She enjoyed living at Camelot Court in Irwin County and spending time with her friends at Sunnydale Training Service Center. Miss Jones was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her brothers, Leroy (Ann) Jones of Fitzgerald, J.W. Jones of Oglethorpe, Charles L. (Myra) Jones and Carl Ellis (Bea) Jones, all of Fitzgerald as well as several nieces and nephews.
