Obituary

WEBSTER – Christopher F. Tatro, 49, of 9 Fifth Avenue, died Saturday, August 25, in Hubbard Regional Hospital after being stricken ill.

He leaves his mother, Virginia L. (McGrotty) Persons of Webster; his father and stepmother, Wilbur and Theresa Tatro of Wauregan CT; a brother, Perry J. Tatro and his wife Kimmberly of Danielson, CT; three sisters, Lorraine G. Tatro of Plainfield, CT, Vickie E. Devish and her husband Robert of Webster, and Jennifer D. Gile and her husband Michael of Dayville, CT; his stepfather, Richard Tetreault of Webster; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and a great niece. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael R. Tatro, in 1993.

He was born in Springfield, VT and raised in Canterbury, CT before moving here. He graduated from Harvard H. Ellis Technical School in Killingly.

Mr. Tatro owned and operated Tatro Construction Company at the time of his death.

A motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed traveling and riding his bike. He was a member of the Church of the Reconciliation.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, at 1:00 PM in the Church of the Reconciliation, 5 North Main Street. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. There are no calling hours.The family will provide flowers; donations in his memory may be made to the Church of the Reconciliation Memorial Fund, 5 North Main St., Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
