Harold G. Nayler, 93, died Wednesday, August 22, in Evanston, IL after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Harriet (Harris) Nayler. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Boston Schools. Mr. Nayler was a WW II Veteran of the US Army. He worked as a Manager for Insurance Services Co. in Boston for over 30 years, retiring in 1979. Mr. Nayler was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years before residing in Attleboro for 2 years and in Illinois for the past 6 months. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cribbage and cards, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Ronald Nayler and his wife Janice of IL, Susan Nayler and her husband Eugene Avallon of Attleboro and Joan Beebe and her husband Timothy of NH. He was the Proud Grandfather of Christopher Nayler, Lindsay Moeser, Cheryl and Jonathan Beebe and John Avallon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27), Stoughton on Saturday, August 25 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8 PM. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton
