Arthur M. "Buster" Eaton, 92, of Litchfield, NH, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH. Mr. Eaton was born in Allenstown, NH on January 24, 1915, a son of the late Merton and Lennie (Morrill) Eaton. He was a resident of Litchfield for past 12 years, formerly living in Derry and Londonderry, NH. Prior to his retirement in 1979, he worked as a truck driver for Lumbertown in Nashua, NH. Mr. Eaton was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He leaves his wife of 59 years, Gertrude C. Eaton of Litchfield; one brother, William Phillips of Litchfield; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
There were no calling hours. A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 23rd at 2:00pm at Forest Hill Cemetery, Hampstead Rd., E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
