Viola L. (Pica) Bernard age 57 of Salem, NH, died Monday at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Derry, NH, grew up and was schooled in Methuen, MA. She was a resident of Salem for the past 32 years, formerly of Methuen.
Mrs. Bernard was an owner and operator of Common Grounds Café in Methuen, MA. She enjoyed golfing and boating in Florida, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her Mother: Esther (Labelle) Pica

Calling hours will be held Thursday, Aug. 23 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
