Obituary

Terry (Crisp) Armitage, 79 of Medway died August 20 in the Stanley Tippett Hospice Home in Needham following a long illness. She was the wife of James H. Armitage.
Born in Buffalo, New York, April 29, 1928 the daughter of the late Percy E. and Henrietta T. (Fregeau) Crisp, Mrs. Armitage had lived in Medway for 32 years.
She had been a cafeteria worker at the Duence International School in Holliston for 5 years before her retirement. She had previously worked at the former Fernandes Market in Medway as a scanning coordinator for many years.
Mrs. Armitage was a member of the Medway Senior Citizens Association and was an avid maker of crafts and needlepoint. She was a member of the Linus Club, which makes blankets for sick children.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, James W. Armitage and his wife, Pamela of Holliston, her daughter, Mary Jo Yasutovich and her husband, Alan of Franklin and her grandchildren, Stacey, Rachael and Bradley.
She was the sister of the late Charles Crisp and Marie Kaligian.
Her funeral service will be private with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Medway.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 25 in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Millis at 10:30.a.m.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the St. Paul’s Church Memorial Fund, 903 Main St., Millis, MA 02054.
