KNEELAND, William E. “Bill”, of Winthrop, passed away at the North Shore Medical Center in Salem, MA, on April 11, 2007. He was 90. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Terry) Kneeland. Born in Boston, MA, He was the son of the late David J. and Josephine V. (Ryan) Kneeland. Devoted father of William E. Kneeland Jr. of Sudbury, Kathleen Bagley of Salem, NH., Kevin Kneeland, and JoAnn Silk, both of Winthrop, and Paul Kneeland of Saugus. Brother of Jeanette Donovan of Winthrop, and the late David J., Joseph, and Bernard T. Kneeland, Alice VanDalinda, Margaret J. Conley, and Mary Stepczyk. Adored grandfather of Scott, Julie, Adam, Christopher, and Paul Kneeland Jr., Brian and Meghan Silk, Kelly Dougherty, and Edward Bagley, and great-grandfather of Kaylee Farrell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP. A Funeral Mass was held in St. John the Evangelist Church, on April 16, 2007, at 10am. Interment was in Winthrop Cemetery.
