Rose A. Kovich,

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Rose A. ( Perrault) Kovich, 84, of Mansfield died on Friday August 17, 2007 at home surrounded by the presence of her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Arthur P. Kovich to whom she was wed to on April 4, 1945.
Born in Cambridge, MA on May 17, 1923 she was a loving daughter of the late Blair and Florence (Simpson) Perrault.
She grew up in Cambridge and was educated in Cambridge schools. She received her nursing training to become a Registered Nurse and was also employed at Holy Ghost Hospital in Cambridge.
Mrs. Kovich later worked as a RN at the former Country Haven Nursing Home in Norton for several years. She later was employed as a Teachers Assistant in the Mansfield school system having worked for over 10 years prior to retiring.
A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Rose enjoyed knitting, traveling, trips to Cape Cod beaches and especially times spent with her loving family. She had anticipated the birth of her first great grandchild in October. Mrs. Kovich had made her home in Mansfield for the past 51 years.
In addition to her beloved husband of over 62 years she is survived by her devoted children; Lynda M. O’Brien and her husband Dennis of Wrentham, Denise L. Dei and her husband Rick of Attleboro, Stephen A. Kovich and his wife Vicki of Foxboro, Deborah A. Perry and her husband Ron of Norton and Janet M. Savard and her husband Tim of North Easton. Her dear sister Rita Somerville of Mansfield. Also survived by 8 cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 siblings.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday August 21st at 8:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 20th from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
