Lionel “Danny” Vieira, age 85 of 2414 County St., Dighton. Widower of Beatrice (Leonardo) Vieira & Son of the late Manuel and Maria (Rodrigues) Vieira. Born in Fall River, he was a resident of Dighton since 1960. Passed away in Taunton August 16, 2007. He was a parishioner of St. Peter Church, Dighton. Before retiring in 1983, he was a Group Leader at Haskon Mfg. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by Two Sons:Lionel“Dan” J. Vieira of Taunton and John D. Vieira of Oakland, CA. 3 Grandchildren & 3 Nephews. He was Father of the late Mary Ellen Machado and Brother of the late Mary Vieira and Isabel Perry.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. TBD followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, Dighton at TBD A.M.
