Edna Howze Eidson, 81, of Lakeland, Florida, died Wednesday, August 15, at Lakeland Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, August 18, in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Steve Waldorf officiating.
Mrs. Eidson was born March 11, 1917, in Fitzgerald, to the late Lucius and Nellie Howze. She grew up in Fitzgerald, graduating from Fitzgerald High School. She moved to Lakeland, Florida eleven years ago from Albany. Mrs. Eidson was a former loan officer at First State Bank in Albany. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Lakeland, Florida.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Michael Westbrook of Lakeland, FL; granddaughter, Melissa Suzanne Westbrook of Gainesville, FL; great-granddaughter, Kailan of Gainesville, FL. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Eidson.
