Pauline Groves Arrington age 85, of Water Valley, MS, died August 16, 2007 in Aiken, SC. Pauline lived in Water Valley most of her life, she worked at Rice Stix - Big Yank for years. She was a member of The First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday, August 18, 2007 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Officiating at the service will be Dr. Randy Bain and serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Perry Arrington, Alan Arrington, Austin Arrington, Brad Day, Brian Day, Robert Day and dear family friend Jimmy Murphrey. She will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery beside her loving husband Ben Sanders Arrington.
Pauline is survived by her son, Jimmy L. Arrington and wife Gale of Oxford, MS; 5 grandchildren, Perry Arrington, Alan Arrington, Brad Day, Brian Day and Jill Day Wall and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Horace C. Groves and Pearl Oliver Groves; daughters, Peggy A. Day (2006)and Mary K. Arrington (1972); a sister, Velma Groves McGaughy and her twin brother, Paul Groves.
