Obituary

Worcester—Lorraine M. (Bourassa) Ricard, 76, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007, in Saint Vincent Hospital with her loving family and friends at her side. She leaves her husband of 37 years, John J. Ricard Sr., two sons and two daughters, Donna M. Vaillancourt of Worcester, Todd A. Vaillancourt and his wife Debra of Arizona, Cheryl A. Tuttle and her husband David of Auburn, and John J. Ricard Jr. and his wife Holly of Oxford; two sisters, Gloria Kalisezewski and her husband Frank of Webster and Jean Battelle and her husband Richard of Worcester; ten grandchildren, Jillian, Trista, Ryan, Jennifer, Matthew, Elise, Ricardo, Brandon, Teresa, and Katia, nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Arcade H. and Lillian J. (Latour) Bourassa. Lorraine was an avid camper and enjoyed frequenting yard sales and flea markets and annual trips to the beach. She was a loving and nurturing mother. She believed in putting others before herself and was known by all as a great friend and confidant. Lorraine was a very spiritual individual and was dedicated to her faith and educating others about Jehovah and his Kingdom.

A Memorial Talk will be held at Kingdom Hall, 78 Bancroft Street, Auburn, Saturday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is assisting the family with arrangements. For on-line condolences, please click below.
