Jason S. Violette, 29, a lifelong resident of Derry, NH, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at his home in Derry. Jason was born in Haverhill, MA on May 21, 1978, a son of Victor and Gail (Tenney) Violette. Jason attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry and worked as a self-employed carpenter in the Southern NH and Massachusetts area. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating, motorcycling and was an avid NASCAR fan. Jason also loved his dog “Kane.”
He is survived by his parents, Victor and Gail Violette of Derry, two sisters, Andrea Violette of Portland, ME, Desiree Violette of Atlanta, GA, a brother, Tony Violette and his wife Robin of Manchester, NH, his maternal grandmother, Elsie Tenney of Chester, NH, paternal grandmother, Mella Violette of Manchester, NH; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Calling hours were Friday from 6-9pm in the Peabody Funeral Home. The burial was in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Derry Humane Society, P.O. Box 142, East Derry, NH 03041.
