METHUEN – Renald E. “Rocky” Rochette age 77 died Monday August 13, 2007 at his home in Methuen, MA.
Born and educated in Lowell, MA, he attended St. Louis Grammar School in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1949. He served in the US Army National Guard Reserves and was honorably discharged. For 35 years he was the Chief of Finance with the Bedford VA Hospital, before retiring. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, and also a member of St. Theresa’s Rainbow Club and the Methuen Senior Center.
He leaves his wife of 55 years Marguerite A. “Peggy” (McAvoy) Rochette of Methuen, MA.
2 daughters Denise A. Collins of Bradford, MA and Janine I. Kissinger of Methuen.
2 sons Renald J. Rochette of Lawrence, MA and David M. and his wife Susan C. (Lehman) Rochette of Salem, NH.
1 sister Claudette Manchenton ad her husband William of Lowell
4 grandchildren Kristine Smith of North Andover, MA, Brian Collins of Sherman Oaks, CA, Christopher Rochette of Raymond, NH and Eric Kissinger of Methuen, MA.
1 great-granddaughter Aisling Smith of North Andover, MA

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00a.m. at St. Monica’s Church Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
