JOYCE Thomas F. of West Roxbury, formerly of Recess, Co. Galway, Ireland passed on August 12, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Barbara T. (Norton). Loving father of Patricia A. and her late husband Patrick C. of Needham, Mary T. and her husband Richard V. Dunphy of West Roxbury, Thomas M. and his wife Patricia A. of West Roxbury, Kevin F. and his wife Lenore A. of Clifton Park, N.Y., Karin E. and her husband V. Raia of Revere also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, his sister, Annie Douglas. He always had an open door for friends and family, especially his in-laws, Anne Norton and Peter and Kathleen Naughton as well as many extended relatives in the U.S. and Ireland. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Thursday Aug. 16, at 9 am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa’s Church at 10 am. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-9 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Retired employee of Commonwealth Gas Company.
