Obituary

Edmund L. Kisiel, age 71, of Derry, NH formerly of Woburn and Cambridge, died Friday, August 10th, following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice M. (Tasher). Born in Cambridge he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Woronicz) Kisiel.

Mr. Kisiel was a devoted family man and enjoyed camping a being outdoors. He cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who knew him as “Patti Cake”, and looked forward to vacationing with them at the Sebago Lake area in Maine where the family gathered for many years. Mr. Kisiel also served with the United States Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his children, Deborah Griswold and her husband Ronald of Lawrence, Anthony M. Kisiel and his wife Diane of Lowell, Edmund L. Kisiel II and his wife Beth, Alice Crupi and her husband Vincent all of Derry, NH, Christopher Kisiel and his wife Carolyn of Woburn, Matthew Kisiel and his wife Melissa of Billerica. He is also survived by seventeen loving grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Jenny Pucillo of Cambridge and is predeceased by his brother Walter Kisiel, and sisters, Vera and Frances Kisiel.

Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Wednesday, Aug. 15th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
