Methuen - Sadie Julia (Kopec) Legros, 88, died Friday, August 10th, 2007 at the Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen, MA, after a lengthy illness. Ms. Legros was the daughter of the late Stanley and Julia Kopec. A life-long resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was educated in the Lawrence Public Schools and worked for over 20 years at Jogal Shoe Factory. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, Massachusetts and found great joy in spending time with her great grand children.
She is survived by her son: Joseph Cubelli, Jr., Grandchildren, Michael S. Cubelli, Michele A. Harris, Patricia Ventrillo, Jody Cubelli, Matthew S. Harris, Jr. and Marc T. Harris and several great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughters, Cynthia Ventrillo and Madelyn I. Cubelli and her brother Rudolph (Rudy) Kopec.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, August 20th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, Ma.
