Obituary

Ann M.Tatro, 80, of Chiswick Road, Greenville, died Monday August 6, 2007, at Steere House. She was the widow of Robert L. Tatro.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John & Margaret (Moran) Shevlin, she had been a resident of Smithfield since 1964. She had worked as a mortgage processor for Citizen’s Bank before retiring in 1993. She was a communicant and volunteer at St. Philip Church and a Past President the Women’s Group. She was a volunteer at the San Miguel School and a member of the Apple Blossom Garden Club, the Kindred Spirits Travel Group and the Smithfield Sr. Center.

She is survived by her daughters Margaret West of Birmingham, AL, and Rosemary Gately of Cumberland; her sons Joseph Tatro of Coventry and Thomas Tatro of Dartmouth, MA, nine grandchildren, two sisters Margaret Fitzgerald of North Providence, Mary Susla of Blackstone, MA, and a brother John Shevlin of Coventry. She was the sister of the late Terrance Shevlin and Kathleen McCann.

A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5-8pm in the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
