Jessie K. (nee Czeslawa Kozlowski) Andruk, of East Bridgewater, died on August 3, 2007 at the Sachem Nursing & Rehab Center in East Bridgewater. She was 100.
Born in Schenectady, NY to Kamilja & Kostanty Kozlowski. She was raised & educated in Poland.
After returning to the U.S. she married & lived in Cambridge. She raised her family in Bridgewater after moving there in 1944.
She was a homemaker. She was a past member of the Bridgewater Garden Club & the Scotland Women’s Club. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, Japanese Bunka, embroidery, & entertaining her family & friends.
She was one of the first residents at the Residents at the Arbors Assisted Living Center in Taunton, where she lived before moving to East Bridgewater 2 ½ years ago.
Wife of the late John A. Mother of Alicia Boucher & her husband Roger of East Bridgewater, George & his wife Flora, Bohdan & his wife Lois of Bridgewater, Edwin & his wife Kathleen of Pembroke, Krystyna Leroe & her husband Raymond of Tampa, Fl. & Tadeusz “Ted” & his wife Elizabeth of Taunton. Also survived by 21 grandchildren & 32 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Tadeusz, Walter, Edward, & Kaziemierz Kozlowski.
Funeral from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home 35 Spring St. East Bridgewater on Wednesday at 9:15 Am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Church East Bridgewater at 10:00 Am. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4-8 Pm.
