Veale, Eleanor M. (Kirby) a life long resident of Quincy died August 2, 2007.
Daughter of the late Charles and Mary Kirby, also long time residents of Quincy. Beloved mother of Beverly A. Kenney of Braintree, Todd Veale of DE, and Diane Jardine of FL. Loving sister of Charles Kirby of NC, and the late William Kirby. Cherished grandmother of Cassandra, Ian, Katherine, Zachary, Olivia, Elena, Simone, and Garrett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 9:00 AM.
Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8 PM.
Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Eleanor was a life long resident of Quincy. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy, W. Roxbury and D'Youville College in Buffalo NY. She worked at Quincy Medical Center as a Technologist for 20 years, retiring in 1986. Eleanor was very independent and outgoing. She enjoyed going out to dinner with her girlfriends and shopping. Eleanor loved being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
