Bedford – Donna M. O’Connor, 51, of Westport, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the longtime companion of Alan M. Sequeira of Westport.
Born in Pittsfield, MA, she was a daughter of Helen H. (Lyon) O’Connor of Pittsfield, MA and the late Raymond O’Connor. A member of the Class of 1973 at Taconic High School in Pittsfield, MA, she was a graduate of UMass Dartmouth (formerly SMU). She worked for Sippican Inc. / Lockheed Martin in Human Resources for 25 years serving as Vice President of Human Resources from 1994 - 2005. She was a member of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and also a passionate gardener herself, who took great pride in the gardens around her home, she also loved animals and had a special affection for her pet cats. Donna will always be remembered as a compassionate, fun loving individual who could bring a smile to even a casual acquaintance.
She was the sister of the late Mary Ann O’Connor.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
