Maria C. (Araujo) Almeida, age 78, of Fall River, formerly of Atlas Ave., Somerset. Passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Crawford Skilled Nursing Center.She was the wife of the late Franklin N. Almeida. She was born in Lisbon, Portugal. Daughter of the late Antonio & Maria de Carmen Araujo. She was a Somerset resident for most of her life, a retired sewing machine operator & a member of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by one son: Michael A. Almeida of Somerset. Two Grandchildren and Several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Friday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4:00-8:00 P.M.
