Obituary

William C. Kay Jr., 65, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2007 at his Worcester home while sitting in his recliner watching a baseball game on Saturday afternoon.

After quietly leaving his mark on this world he will be deeply missed by his family that includes his best friend and son, William C. Kay III of Worcester; sister, Judith Page of Worcester; brother, Gordon Kay of Princeton; 3 nephews and 3 nieces; a former wife, Suzanne Pierce and many friends. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Lois (Kay) Loconto and Gloria Kay.

Bill was born in Worcester, son of the late William C. and Edith Kay. He attended Worcester public schools and served in the US Army. He was employed by Lutco.

He was an avid Red Sox, Patriot, boxing and Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan and had a deep passion for his Chevy Camaro.

Although he enjoyed keeping to himself he loved his family very much and would always be counted on for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners where he loved sitting at the kid's table. Not one to answer the phone too often you could always find him at the local Honey Dew, Dunkin Donuts or Gibby's where he would be relaxing with friends over a cup of coffee.

A Memorial service will be held Friday August 3rd, 11:00 a.m at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. Memorial calling hours are Thursday August 2nd, 6-8 p.m at the funeral home.
