WORCESTER-Barbara A. (Lazaros) Tambollio, 72 of 6F Wachusett Street, died Sunday, December 8th, in UMass Memorial Healthcare, Memorial Campus. Her husband Anthony Tambollio died in 1990. She leaves 2 sons; David P. Tambollio of Cherry Valley and Michael A. Tambollio of North Brookfield, a daughter Elaine Rischitelli of Shrewsbury, 2 brothers; Donald Lazaros of North Miami, FL and Robert Lazaros of Marlboro, 2 sisters; Stella Schippia of Marlboro and Lorraine DeFosse of Lady Lake, FL, 2 step-granddaughters, 9 step great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
She was born in Marlboro the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Dion) Lazaros. Mrs. Tambollio was a graduate of Marlboro High School. She had worked as a secretary for many years at the former Lincoln Nursing Home, retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Leicester.
The funeral will be Wednesday, December 11th with a service at Noon in O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 11th from 10:00AM until the time of the service.
