Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Tremblay 73, of Waltham, formerly of Boston & Somerville died Sunday in the Massachusetts General Hospital following a brief illness. Wife of the late James L. Tremblay.

Born in Boston, daughter of the late Robert D. and Ellen F. (Hartigan) Fountain.
She was a domestic engineer. In earlier years she worked at Boston Edison Company as an executive secretary until 1965.
She is a member of the Francis Cabot Social Club in Waltham where she enjoyed movie nights, lunch outings and looked forward to bed & breakfast weekend getaways.She loved to play gin rummy. She was well known for her great sense of humor and she was a terrific cook.

She is survived by three daughters: Kathleen M. Tremblay of St. Paul MN, Marie E. Fountain-Bifolck of Acton and Patricia Tremblay P. Henry of Clemson, SC. Grandmother of Alan M. Bifolck and Thomas C. Henry. Sister of Richard D. Fountain of Burnsville MN. And the late Rev. Robert D. Fountain. Mother in law of Louis Bifolck, and Douglas C. Henry. She also leaves her crazy and loving feline companion, “Greta”

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street MEDFORD Thursday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church 118 High Street Medford at 11 am. Donations in her memory may be sent to the M.S.P.C.A. 350 Huntington Avenue, Boston MA. 02130. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
