Mildred A. Klavin, 88
Retired Nurse

Mildred A. Klavin, 88, of Foxboro formerly of Mansfield died on Thursday July 26, 2007 at the Doolittle Home in Foxboro.
Born in Latvia on May 24, 1919 she was a devoted daughter of the late Peter A. and Maryanne (King) Klavin.
Her family came to America when she was a child and settled in Mansfield when she was 6 years old. She was educated in Mansfield schools and was a graduate of The Goddard Hospital School of Nursing.
Miss Klavin was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked at Brockton Hospital for 35 years before retiring in 1979.
Mildred was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Foxboro. After living in Mansfield for 72 years she moved to the Doolittle Home in Foxboro in 1997 and enjoyed the company of the staff and friends she made at the Doolittle Home.
She was the dear sister of the late Ortya A. Klavin. Also surviving are her friends William and Betty Cain of West Bridgewater.
Private graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 31st at The Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro.
A memorial service, to which all are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday August 3rd at 11:00 A.M. at the Doolittle Home, 16 Bird St., Foxboro.
