Margaret Banks Nye, age 37, of Westerly, RI and formerly of Mystic, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 in Providence, RI.
Margaret was born on September 21, 1969 in New London the daughter of the late Thurman Banks, Sr. and Constance Silva Banks of Mystic. She attended local schools in Mystic and graduated from Fitch Senior High School class of 1987.
Mrs. Nye was currently employed at Best Western for the past 15 years as the manager of Ground Round Restaurant until her illness.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Richard Nye, two children, Kyle and Korrina Nye of Westerly, RI, five siblings, Thurman Banks Jr. of Groton, Lucinda Banks of Columbia, SC, Amy Everett of Stonington, Margie Bosse of South Berwick, ME, Jeanne Lowke of Austin, TX, her materbnal grandmother, Helena Silva of Mystic, several aunts, uncles and 15 nieces and nephews.
Her family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday from 6 to 9pm at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic. Funeral and interment services are private.
