Eileen (Shea) Kozak, age 78, of Langley St., formerly of Stetson St. Fall River, died Saturday in Providence at Rhode Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Kozak. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Dennis and the late Mary (Casey) Shea. She was a lifelong resident of Fall River. Prior to retiring, she was a School Teacher for the Fall River School Department for 29 years. She taught at the Highland School, Morton Jr. High School, & Spencer Borden School. She was a graduate of Bridgewater State College, where she earned her Masters Degree. She was also a member of the National Teachers Association.
She was the mother of Nancy Kozak Martin, CRNA of Fall River, Fall River City Councilman Thomas Kozak of Fall River, and Andrew Kozak of Raleigh, NC. Grandmother of Bryan, Paul, Jenny Marie, Alexandra, Krista Kozak, Tom and Charlie Martin. Sister of Edward Shea of Attleboro, MA. She was the sister of the late John Shea.
Following cremation, relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Wednesday at 10 A.M. in Notre Dame Church, Eastern Ave. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. There are No Calling Hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA.
