John A. Oliver Jr., age 70 of 100 Gardner’s Neck Rd., Swansea, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital July 18, 2007. Widower of Theresa (Rebello) Oliver. Son of the late John A. & Mary (Netto) Oliver. Born in Fall River & a resident of Swansea for 10 years. He was a Massachusetts Army National Guard Veteran. He retired from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
He is survived by 2 Children: Donna Thomson of Canada & Scott Oliver of Cranston, RI; 4 Siblings: Richard L. Oliver of Assonet, James A. Oliver, Marie J. Oliver & Ann Marie De Forge all of Fall River; 5 grandchildren; 1 Great grandchild & several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Deborah A. Arruda.
His graveside service will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, Friday at 10 A.M. There are no calling hours.
