Virginia P. Patnaude, 77, of Main St., Fremont, NH, died Friday, December 6, 2002, at her home. She was born in Derry, NH on November 1, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Lillian (Hamilton) Matthews. She was a resident of Fremont for over 30 years, formerly living in Derry. Mrs. Patnaude had been employed as a fancy stitcher for Chelmsford Shoe Co. in Derry and later for Treasure Masters in Derry as a ribbon maker. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. She enjoyed watching soap operas. Mrs. Patnaude was the widow of Albert G. Patnaude who died in 1987.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindalee Donovan of Fremont, two grandchildren, Erin Donovan of Manchester, Ryan Donovan of Dover, one great grandson, Ryan P. Donovan of Dover, and one sister, Shirley Talarico of Haverhill, MA.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the families convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
