Philomena Picciuto of Medford died Thursday in the Bear Hill Nursing Home, Wakefield, after a lengthy illness. She was 80.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Sofia (Lanzetta)De Pasquale.
Mrs. Picciuto was a Medford resident for 43 years and had previously resided in Boston’s North End.
She is survived by her husband Anthony, a son Louis Picciuto of Methuen and his wife Diane.Phyllis also leaves a grandson Michael and two sisters: Anna Perriello of Stoneham, and Esther Nolan of Hyde Park.She was predeceased by her brother, Sabino De Pasquale.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 am in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Friends may visit Sunday from 4 thru 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
