Obituary

WORCESTER___John O. Pellerin, 85, of 720 Grafton Street, died Saturday July 14 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Road.

He leaves his wife of 58 years, Alice T. (King) Pellerin, a son, John E. Pellerin and his wife Donna of Arlington; two grandsons, Benjamin and Matthew and nephews and nieces. He was born in Ste. Celestin, P.Q. Canada a son of Alexander and Adwilda (Richards) Pellerin and has lived in Worcester for most of his life.

Mr. Pellerin was a process inspector for Wyman Gordon Co. in North Grafton and worked there for 28 years before retiring. Previously he was an interior and exterior painter for Labbee Painting Contractors and Bruinsma Painting.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a Master Sgt. in the Army infantry. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a former member of St. Joseph Church.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday July 18 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, with a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday July 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, VNA Care Network, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, Ma., 01608 or to Summit Elder Care, 277 Mountain Street, East, Worcester, Ma., 01606.
