WORCESTER-Shirley R. (Olson) Krosoczka, 80, of Worcester, died Friday, July 13th in St. Vincent Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph D. Krosoczka; 3 sons, Joseph M. and his wife, Diane M. Krosoczka of Spencer, Stephen A. and his wife, Melissa M. Krosoczka of Paxton and Jarrett J. Krosoczka and his fiancée Gina DeFrancesco of Northampton; 3 daughters, Leslie A. Krosoczka of Worcester, Lynn A. wife of Michael P. Boyle of Grafton, and Holly A. wife of Brian V. O’Neil of Worcester; 2 brothers, Russell and his wife Eleanor Olson of Worcester and Richard and his wife Claudette of Webster; a sister, Eleanor wife of Robert Morello of Shrewsbury; 10 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Clarence O. and Annie I. (Johnson) Olson. Mrs. Krosoczka was a graduate of Commerce High School and had at one time been employed by Telechron and the former Colony Restaurant. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish and enjoyed time spent with her family and her home at Hampton Beach.
The funeral is Tuesday, July 17th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, July 16th from 6:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
