Mary Vishnesky, Throop, died Wednesday at Moses Taylor Hospital. She was the widow of Frank Vishnesky, who died in 1998.
Born May 17, 1916, in Throop, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sherbick, she was employed for many years at the Billig Shoe Co. before retirement. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church, Olyphant.
Surviving are a son, George, Columbus, N.J.; and three nieces, Frances Klem, Olyphant; Julie Bulkley, Scranton; and Mildred Loposky, Olyphant; and a great-niece, Diane Clark, Throop.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home, 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in Holy Ghost Church. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Montdale.
