Mrs. Juana Osorio-Pizarro, age 67, a resident of Lowell for the past 10 years, formerly of Puerto Rico, died unexpectedly on Wednesday July 4th, 2007 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the widow of Eduviges Ramos.
She was born in Loiza, Puerto Rico on May 16th, 1940, daughter of the late Damaso Osorio and Carmen Pizarro.
According to the family, she was a devoted mother and a very kind and loving women, and will be missed by many.
She was a parishioner of Iglesia Ebenezer Assembly of God on Grove Street. She was a member of the Church's Board of Directors and she also served as a Deacon for over 8 years. She was also known as "Abuelita Juanita" in the community.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Awilda Morales-Ramos and her husband Alexander of Lowell, and Nilda Ramos of Puerto Rico; her son and daughter-in-law, Edil Ramos and his wife Dorcas of Puerto Rico; seven grandchildren: Gerardo of Lowell, Enolis, Nohely, Erick, Elvin, Ivan and Edward, all of Puerto Rico.
Relatives & friends will be will be received at the Iglesia Ebenezer Assembly of God, Grove St., Lowell, TODAY from 6-8:00 PM, with prayer services to be held during the visitation. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Carolina, Puerto Rico on Saturday.
