Rose B. (Jingozian) “Auntie Rosie” Vaughn, 86, of Sanford, Florida died on Thursday July 12, 2007 at the home of her niece in Norton, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar Vaughn.
Born in Attleboro, MA on April 6, 1921 she was a loving daughter of the late Charles and Mary Jingozian.
She grew up in East Bridgewater, MA and was educated in East Bridgewater schools. She later moved to Rhode Island. Mrs. Vaughn was a retired Seamstress having worked for the Healthtex Clothing Co. in Rhode Island for many years prior to retirement.
Rose was a communicant of the Nativity Catholic Church in Lake Mary, Florida. She enjoyed taking care of her pet dogs. An avid reader Rose also enjoyed playing bingo, trips to Foxwoods and Twin Rivers. She especially enjoyed the entertainment of the game of chance but her favorite game being Uno.
Mrs. Vaughn had traveled extensively throughout the United States. She especially enjoyed trips to the East Coast and West Coast to visit with her loving family. Rose was not one to sit around at home but loved being on the go.
She had lived in Norton since May and was formerly of Sanford, Florida for over 30 years. She was a friend of all and truly enjoyed all that life had to offer. She will be greatly missed by her adoring family.
Rose is survived by 3 sisters; Sadie Jingozian of Watertown, MA, Leah Durante of Palm Desert, California and Margaret Kampitch of Penn Valley, California. She was pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters; Harry Jingozian, Arthur Jingozian, Leo Jingozian, John Jingozian, Edward Jingozian, Henry Yenovkian, Elizabeth Ardolino and Veda Anmahian. Also surviving are her loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday July 20th at 10:00 A.M. at the Oaklawn Park Cemetery, 600 County Road 46-A, Lake Mary, Florida. Burial will follow.
Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers Rose’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to The Vista Care Hospice 690 Canton St. Westwood, MA 02090
