Bridgewater- Audrey D. (Foot) Jenkins, 80, of Bridgewater, died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Brockton Hospital after a long illness.
Born Nov. 26, 1926, in Holborn, England, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Garten) Foot.
She was a Bridgewater resident for the past 58 years, coming from Whitman.
Mrs. Jenkins was a bookkeeper at Bridgewater Savings Bank, Henry Perkins Co. in Bridgewater and at Brockton Service Oil Co.
She was active at the Senior Center and enjoyed knitting, family and traveling.
She was the mother of Jackie Lewis of Bridgewater; grandmother of Richard Lewis Jr. of Maine, Michael Lewis of West Bridgewater and the late John Lewis; great-grandmother of Joey, John and Mattie. She was the sister of the late Rita Gadjic.
Funeral service in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Friday at 10 am. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm. Burial in Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman.
