John T. Eburn, 97, died at St. John Regional Hospital in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada on Sunday, July 8. He was the husband of the late Florence E. (Stevens) Eburn. Born and educated in British Guyana, South America, he moved to Stoughton in 1950 and lived there for 50 years before moving to St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. Mr. Eburn was a Compound Checker for Plymouth Rubber in Canton for 24 years before retiring in 1974. He was a former member of the Rubber Worker’s Union.
Mr. Eburn is survived by his best friends and family, Donald & Jocelyn Stevens of St. John, NB, Canada as well as several stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 12 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place at Dry Pond Cemetery in Stoughton.
