
Mary P. Pistone passed away Monday, at the St. Francis Hospital in Hartford CT., after a short illness while visiting with family over thanksgiving. The beloved wife of the late Frank Pistone, she was eighty-two years old.
Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Josephine (Sanfilippo) and Pasquale Cappa.Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She had a deep love for her family through out her life, she was a dedicated wife to her late husband Frank who struggled with multiple sclerosis and became a mother figure to her granddaughter Julianne, when her mother Roberta died.
She made her home in Woburn for over forty-five years, raising her family, being active in Local Parent Teacher Associations and she was very skilled at being a seamstress.
She is survived by her daughter Elaine Agnew and her husband Jim of Bolton, CT., her three loving grandchildren Juliane Watros, Kelly and Leslie Agnew.
She is predeceased by her husband Frank, her daughter Roberta Watros and her two brothers, Joseph Cappa and Ercole “Ricky” Cappa.
Her funeral will be from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Friday at 9 a.m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Mary Church, 155 Washington St. Winchester at 10.
Visiting Hours are Thursday, December 5, from 4 thru 8. At the Mclaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home.Services will conclude with Entombment in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
