Obituary

TEWKSBURY: Doris C. (Fournier) Pereira, age 80, a resident of Tewksbury for 59 years, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the D’Youville Senior Care center in Lowell.
She was the wife of Theodore J. Pereira, who died August 29, 2006.
Born in New Bedford on February 2, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Eugene J. and Yvonne (Daunais) Fournier.
Mrs. Pereira was raised in Lowell and attended Lowell schools.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an assembler by the Raytheon Corporation of Lowell.
Mrs. Pereira was a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and Senior Drop-In-Center.
She was a dedicated supporter of the American Diabetes Association and enjoyed attending flea markets and yard sales, collecting costume jewelry, and watching game shows.
Mrs. Pereira is survived by two daughters, Gloria M. Tremblay and her husband Victor and Linda M. Tremblay all of Hudson, NH; one sister, Pauline Beaulieu and her husband Alphonse of Lowell; one brother, Henry Fournier and his wife Rita of Nashua, NH; eight grandchildren, David Roberts of Lowell, Sherrol Dillon and her husband Tom of Rindge, NH, Michelle Tataronis and her husband Peter of Hudson, NH, Brian Pereira of Tewksbury, Laura Pottie and her husband Michael of Billerica, Corin Tremblay and her husband Christopher Dickhoff of Maryland, Steven Tremblay of Lowell and Alan Tremblay of Hudson, NH; five great grandchildren, Kelsey and Courtney Dillon, Zachary and Matthew Tataronis, and Bryanna Pottie; one daughter-in-law, Brenda J. Pereira of Tewksbury; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Fournier of Sterling and Marion Pereira of Lowell; one brother-in-law; Henry Hebert of Lowell.
Mrs Pereira was the mother of the late Arthur and William Pereira, sister of the late Eugene and Emile Fournier, Rita Klaver, Cecile Gathier, Theresa Hebert, Lucy Ninteau and Irene Caron and sister-in-law of the late Stasia and Arthur Perry and George Perreira.
Calling hours Sunday, July 8th, from 2-6 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Prayer service Monday, July 9th, at 9:30 a.m., at the funeral home.
