She became a dedicated servant of Jehovah in 1986.
Ms. Deborah A. Thigpen was born April 11, 1956 to Mr. & Mrs. Melvin E. Williams, Sr. in Birmingham, Alabama.
She departed this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2007.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, William Curtis Thigpen and Stacy thigpen (Latrice); one daughter, Bridgett Tamara Thigpen; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Tamara Thigpen and Dorian DeSean Thigpen of Huntsville, AL; four sisters, Vickie Ferguson of St. Louis, MO, Adrienne Daniels (Sylvester) of Detroit, MI, Frederica Burton, and Charlotte Henderson of Birmingham, AL; six brothers, Melvin Williams, Jr. (Linda), Michael Williams (Shelia) of Birmingham, AL, Malcom D. Williams (Alfreda) of Ardmore, AL, Frederick Williams of Las Vegas, NV, Stanley Williams (Wanda) of Birmingham, AL, Derrick Williams of Birmingham, AL; one grandparent, Mrs. Ossie Hunter Moore and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Ms. Thigpen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Brother Issac Patton officiating. The Thigpen family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday from the funeral home. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
