Beloved husband of 60 years to Mary (Robilotto) Nunnari. Loving father of Jean Peachey, Antoinette McCarthy, Lisa Nunnari, all of Quincy, and the late Thomas & Ann Marie Nunnari. Brother of Mary Robilotto, Josephine Nunnari, Sally Gore, all of Dorcester and the late Frances Morgante, Lillian Freeman, and Thomas Nunnari. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many neices & nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Burial in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Boston.
Mr. Nunnari owned Adams Service Station in Dorchester for 25 years. He also taught auto mechanics at Plymouth South High until his retirement in 1997.
Born in Boston, he lived in Roxbury for many years before moving to Quincy in 1956.
He was past Exalted Ruler for the Quincy Lodge of Elks and was active with the VA Hosptial in Jamaica Plain and a member of the Quincy Sons of Italy. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed taking trips with his wife to the casinos. He also enjoyed making flag pins that he distributed to everyone he met, one being placed at Ground Zero.
He will be greatly missed.
